Perched among the trees, a peacock shows off one of nature's most extraordinary displays of color. Its brilliant blue plumage gives way to a cascading train of iridescent green feathers, each marked with the distinctive eye-shaped patterns that make these birds so recognizable. There's an unmistakable elegance to the scene, a reminder that some of nature's most remarkable works of art need no embellishment.
